Account Deletion

This public page explains how Kanatago users can request account deletion, including users who cannot access the app anymore. This page is reachable without login and intended for users, app reviewers, and store-compliance checks.

Preferred method: if you can still access the app, open Kanatago and use the in-app delete option in Settings. If you cannot access the app, use the support email flow below.

Who can request deletion

The account owner can request deletion of their Kanatago app account. For security reasons, we only process manual requests after verifying that the requester controls the account or can provide enough information to prove ownership.

When an account deletion request is completed, we delete the Kanatago app account and associated app data tied to that profile, including:

How long deletion takes

In-app deletion starts immediately after the authenticated request is submitted. Manual email requests are processed after identity verification and are normally completed within 30 days.

How to request deletion if you cannot access the app

  1. Email [email protected] with the subject line Kanatago Account Deletion Request.
  2. Send the request from the email address on the Kanatago account if possible.
  3. If you cannot send from the registered email, include your Kanatago username, the account email you used, your device platform, and any other details that help us verify ownership.
  4. We may ask follow-up questions before deleting the account if the request cannot be verified safely.
